About Me
About Me. Hi, I’m Joanna. I’ve always been drawn to storytelling, research, and the way brands connect with people across cultures.Through this blog, I share insights, reflections, and stories from my journey between Lima, London, and the U.S.
Why I Started This Blog
When I was little, I loved putting together the classroom bulletin board choosing headlines, writing stories by hand, and trying to make them matter.
I didn’t know it then, but that part of me never left.
Even if I didn’t become a journalist.
Even if I ended up building a jewelry brand instead.
This blog is my way back to that voice, the one that loves to share what it finds. Not to teach. Not to prove. Just to tell the journey of the process.
JM-Findings.com is an editorial journal on my work, cities, and creative beginnings between places, exploring how environments shape the way we think and create. JM-Findings began as a way of paying attention while moving between cities. Not as a traveler passing through, but as someone working, building, and observing how places shape ideas, rhythm, and beginnings.

My Journey
I’m a Peruvian entrepreneur and brand co-founder with a background in International Business from Peru and a Master’s in Marketing from London, a city that became home for seven years and where the first ideas of my jewelry journey took shape.
Before starting my own projects, I worked as trade specialist at the Trade Office of PromPerú in London, promoting Peru’s exportable offer through market research, trend analysis and marketing initiatives.
During that time, I helped organize campaigns in London such as Pisco is Peru, the Peruvian Young Chef Competition, and Peru’s presence at international fairs; experiences that shaped how I understand our cultural identity and the power of storytelling within global trade. I deeply enjoyed representing my country beyond its borders.
In my twenties, I co-founded ADRIA, a fine jewelry brand created with my sisters. That project defined much of what I believe about designing with meaning, while also teaching me perseverance, trust, and long-term vision.
Today, I co-run Natal Origins LLC in the U.S., where we explore cultural identity through handmade jewelry. I also support the international side of our family business, sharing traditional Peruvian jewelry beyond borders.
My journey eventually led me not only to love jewelry, but to specialize in it. I’ve completed the Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP) program at GIA and hold a Diamond Grading diploma from HRD Antwerp.
