Journal / Hello, World | About JM Findings

Welcome to JM Findings. A blog that was never really part of the plan, but somehow, feels like a return to something I’ve always carried inside.

When I was a child at school, I loved putting together the classroom bulletin board. I chose the headlines, selected the images, and wrote the stories that went with them. I didn’t realize it then, but I think that was my first attempt at storytelling, not for an audience, but to give space to what deserved to be seen.

I don’t write because I have it all figured out. I write because some stories deserve more than a caption.

Years later, I co-founded a jewelry brand. My work began taking me between cities: Peru, London, and now the United States.

Today, I guide clients in choosing diamonds; together with my team we develop marketing campaigns, take part in international fairs, and I continue learning in areas such as gemology and 3D design.

During my years working in London, I also found myself writing small press notes from time to time perhaps without realizing that this practice was still feeding something that never left. And through all of it… the pull to write never went away.

To write not just about jewelry. But about  meaning. Decision-making. The quiet in-between moments. About building something from scratch and not always knowing what’s next.

I have to admit… this is actually my second chance. Back in 2013, when I was studying in London, one of our university projects was to write a blog. Of course I did. Here it is: Meridian 77

And sometimes I wonder, what if I had kept writing? I didn’t.

But I’m here now. This blog is a space to share what I’ve learned, and what I’m still learning. It’s for stories that don’t fit in a caption. For things I want to remember. For the brands that inspire me. For the cities that leave a mark. And for anyone building something quietly and humbly, day by day, like I am.

Thanks for reading.
This is post one.
Let’s see where it goes.
